Woman Machine Interface

 

Woman Machine Interface is a series of sculptures that visually and conceptually plays with the idea of merging the figure of a woman, with machine like structures. In these fanciful assemblages, the woman figures are partially encapsulated in the machines that have no known functions. Their design however have been developed in a way that hopefully inspires those who encounter them, to create their own stories about how the woman got there, and what the implications of this merger might be.

The sculpture was created in a response to an ever-growing interest in the relationship between humans and technology, and what the implications of that relationship might be now and in the future.
