Dark Matter is a series of sculptures and photomontages made from the sculptures. The sculptures were made from laser cut painted masonite. Some of the sculptures were photographed, isolated from their original backgrounds, and placed into real landscapes in order to illustrate how they would look if they were reproduced much larger and made of painted steel for outdoor public art installations. The photomontages were made from photos of the original sculptures but altered in various ways in my computer.
