Growing Formations
Growing Formations is a series of sculptures made from Laser cut painted acrylic or painted wood parts. Each sculpture was created from a process of randomly assembling a series of symmetrically formed subcomponents, into a final sculptural formation. The finished formations refer to the ways in which trees, plants, and even crystals grow in nature. A series of altered photo montages are also presented that were made from images of the sculpture.
