Replications
Replications, is a series of photomontages that explore ways in which to create never before seen composite images, from common objects. Various objects like chairs, tools, and guns, were photographed with a digital camera. Those objects were then visually isolated from their surrounding in a computer. The isolated images of the objects were then manipulated in various ways in the computer, and connected together with the original none altered image, forming unexpected symmetrical and asymmetrical composites.
Retaining the original image of the objects juxtaposed to the manipulated versions, form especially unusual photomontages that present completely new things, made from the old things.
