The Treehouse is a proposal for a large public sculpture to be made of painted steel. It's design was inspired by computer altered photos of some of my more functional designs for houses.
The photos of these structures were warped, stretched, and/or compressed in different ways until an image evolved that seemed to be a good candidate for a three dimensional version.
I then make a 3-D version with some alterations, photograph it again, and start the same process over.
