The Web Port

The Web Port is a functional art project designed to provide a special place in which to explore the Internet. The white steel frame of the structure symbolically represents the matrix of the World Wide Web. The red spheres symbolically represent the flow of information through the Internet. The white sphere in the center of the structure is a fully immersive virtual reality space, in which a visitor can explore the Internet.
The Web Port is just one in a series of my functional art projects that merge art, architecture, and technology, through the constructed assemblage of symbolic elements. Through these constructions, I hope to create a new visual language that is very relevant to the world in which we live today, and may live in tomorrow.
