The Ribbed Containment Vessels are part of a series of objects designed to be manufactured specifically with an automated CNC machine. The objects are all based on prefabricated, modular, designs, which can be assembled into different forms from the same basic parts. At this point, all are cut from Baltic Birch plywood and finished with a matte sealer, and/or with a variety of colored dyes. The parts are all hand finished and screwed together with stainless steel screws. Future objects in the series will include tables, chairs, lighting, and sculptures.
