Complex Symmetry, is a series of photomontages made from images of one of my sculptures. Photos were taken with a digital camera of the sculpture. Those photos were placed into a computer where the sculpture was isolated from its background and manipulated in various ways, in order to create completely new and unexpected two dimensional forms. The intention (through this process) is to celebrate the beauty of complex structures.
