Surreal-Scapes
Surreal-Scapes are a series of photomontages made from my photos of various real landscapes that I have manipulated in order to create these completely new and unexpected final images. Most of the original landscape photos were manipulated in the same way but because of their variations, each ended up forming a different final montage.
My intention was to create a new kind of surreal landscape with a specific emphasis placed on structure. The images (which can be cut out and displayed as wall sculptures) can be thought of as new kinds of objects as much as they can be interpreted as scenes from another world.
