Today there's even less of a theme or narrative tying these images together than usual. Despite there being 4+ full weeks of class left I'm starting to feel the crunch-- mostly because I've been seriously slacking since the bridge project was completed.
Last night a puff of 3d printer dust set off the fire alarm which sent a full crew of two firetrucks from the firestation... across the street. You'd think they could send an expeditionary unit to check things out before going through all that hassle.
Studio scene.
Walking back from lunch, HH and I found The Littlest Chair for the littlest drafts(wo)man sititng on the street and decided to adopt it.
As the semester trods along I find myself with less and less space to keep models, so they've started to climb the pin up wall at my desk. If I were more organized I would build some furniture like studiomate TT has done. Pictures of that later.
We've been trying to decide what would be a better practical joke: zap-a-gap things to NZ's hands while he's sleeping or notify the security guard that we've found a homeless man sleeping in the lounge. Personally, jokes played on people in their sleep seems like a troubled territory to enter when you have so many people taking frequent naps and an ample supply of cutting instruments at hand.
The saddest coat.
No Leonid, but other surprises were enough for me.
