depends. i have no idea for some of the students. about 10-15 people are the "elite studio corps". by that i mean we are the 10-15 that tend to work in the studio rather than from home... for us... i'd say, nights before studio we're up to around 3 or 4...
on lighter days, i tend to sleep around 7 hours. on medium days, i'd say 3-5 hours. and it goes to the all-nighters... one of my friends here pulls all-dayers now as he's become nocturnal.
typical week: light days come maybe 1-2 days a week, maybe 1 all-nighter a week? 2 on the bad weeks. the rest are medium days...
sounds like you're doing pretty well... typical studio night ends here at around 5 or 6 for us "elite". yes, drizzler i remember those times fondly - i'm lucky it it's just one night. i'm gonna be back home to tear that place apart ;)

Yeah, definately.
i got an amazing amount of work done. it was quite nice... though slightly strange and surreal.
just curious... i'm a first year at a another grad program - what is the typical first-yr bedtime at UCLA?
