i like the idea of a curated lecture series. usually they seem to be just random collections of speakers without a thread of any sort. just a thought...
maybe they should do an elective then in japanese then - i know ito cant speak english - makes the lectures twice as long when they are said both in jap + englishh

yoshiharu spent time in France, so with Finnish, French, Korean-Americans, it is hardly the most homogeneous of lecture series.
