Oh. and Hitoshi Abe will be our next dean (or is it chair?) starting in the Winter quarter. Supposedly the department has extended him the invitation and he's accepted. It just has to go through the political channels in the UC system and be approved. And this year they're taking applications for undergrads to be accepted to the Dept. of Arch and Urban Design. I might be a TA next year. Ya'll best watch out.
