It's raining on and off all day and literally all but maybe one of my friends have gone to other states or countries for the summer, so I'm kind of bored.
#1 I got my visa today, so Japan is all set.
#2 The last boss in Prince of Persia 3 is really starting to piss me off.
#3 King Kong the game makes me crazy because you fight these big bugs and it's gross and they suck.
#4 I'm almost done reading Last of the Mohicans.
#5 I bought a sweet suit yesterday.
#6 I still can't decide on a point and shoot camera.
#7 I don't know what my internet access is going to be this summer, so email me if you want to be on my PDF blog-ish newsletter list.
#8 I should do something intelligent like read or draw or something rather than just play videogames, but screw that. That's what September-May is for.
#9 which is the main point of this blog entry. I can't decide on the colors for my new Timbuk2 bag. I've looked a lot of other bags that are cool, but in the end I want one made of ballistic nylon. I've had a Timbuk2 bag for about 3 years now and I love it. However the Cordura material has made the right buttcheck area of all of my shirts all pilled and crappy. I didn't realize it was doing that and actually pretty much ruined one of my nicer shirts. Apparently the ballistic nylon is smooth and doesn't pill shirts. So I'm going to go with another Timbuk2. BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! Designers unite! Vote on the color combinations that I have chosen and tell me your favorite, opinions etc. Now to find something to do...

Since you're going to Japan, I vote for #1 with the wacky holographic-type panel.
It's actually a bigass reflector, but I thought it looked kinda cool. Did you get that PDF I sent you?

That green is awesome. None of the others stand out, to me.
after my Timbuk2 bag, I went with this one from xlarge. The padding pleats, shoulderstrap, pocket layout... i'm still bewildered by the design, and swear by it.

i'd vote for #9 > one similar to #8 that skipped the black, replacing it with green or blue.

In the little Japanese translation I can do (using a dictionary of course) I think that says something like:
Liberty Bell, you are correct (as always, as always). The first bag is attractive (but there's more). The shell of the 8th one is almost the same thing (not totally sure)?
I was studying Nihongo again today. Trying to brush up. Man that language sucks haha. Not really, I like it. It's hard though. I can't keep the Yoda-esque grammer and all of the non-Latin based words straight. It's hard. I hope to get better this summer.
AP, thanks for the vote on current. I think you are the only other person that likes that combination. I think it looks cool. MOst people think it's a rasta flag or something haha.
