    Architect's Photo

    By Hasselhoff

Did you ever notice that most architects use a photo that is clearly 10-20 years old and/or shot under conditions that make them look amazing? I can think of a handful of architects off the top of my head, but I won't name them. But, as I get buried deeper in the field, I submit for your approval, my architects mug shot.

Nice... :-) I try to keep up to date with images and am happy that they are only required to show the face and not the rest... (architecture being in my experience the second worst occupation for the figure after spacetravel...)

I've decided that I won't let architecture ruin me. We get 60,70,80 years to live. I'm not going to deteriorate for any job. If anything, architecture school has taught me that my personal time is valuable. I would change careers before I let architecture cause my kids to resent me and my ass to get fat.

      @ Hasselhoff

...its not my ass i am talking about, its more the midside... but anyway you got a point: I for myself decided not to do any more nightshifts - and for some minor lapses I was able to be pretty consequent after adhering to plans and not putting all off to the last minute. No job is worth ruining your health for and alone the facial expression of some people when you tell them that you go to bed NOW is priceless. And considering the amount of work that had to be redone the next morning by selfsame persons I think I was right in my decisions...
