    re-writing architecture history...

    ...or atleast translating it.

So I just came back from a meeting and I was given an incredible opportunity to translate the research work of my japanese professor in english which will be published by fall this year... I cant really talk much about it other than it is about a very important japanese landmark and how it affected the japanese contemporary architecture world... I'm really excited but it will be definitely a lot of work not only in verifying research data but also I desparately need to sharpen my japanese skills... so wish my team and I good luck...

      Good luck, John.

And, please, tell us that you're getting a big wad of academic credit for this--not just translator credit in the book's acknowledgments, but also credits/units counting toward your degree. Either that, or cash.
