Total GFA of 86200sqm and 24 height limit. An exclusive site fronting the sea in Jinshitan, a famous beach packed with people during the summer in Dalian. The challenge was to create thematic and exciting retail to integrate with the existing hard rock cafe building on the east, and the classical 5-star hotel perched on the cliff on the west.

The mixed Development program consist of a Hard Rock hotel (4 star), serviced apartments, and a complex program of commercial facilities, including a winter garden, discovery center, duty free shopping, thematic experience centres and museums, as well as retail, restaurants and bars. Our design won the competition from 2 other firms. We did many rounds of design changes in the SD stage. It was a challenging and fast paced project as the client had a political agenda to complete the project on a planned schedule. The hotel is already in operation and the retail development is in the leasing stage. I independently handled all the hotel design, from 3D modeling to plans to coordination with all consultants.

占地86200平方米，限高24米。这片独特的土地坐落于大连金石滩5A级景区，是东北区夏季热门的海滩，吸引大量游客涌入。项目挑战在于与现有的硬石咖啡馆建筑（东侧）和西侧悬崖上的古典五星级酒店风格相融合，创造具有主题性和激动人心的零售体验。

这个混合开发项目涵盖了硬石酒店（4星级）、服务式公寓以及一系列商业设施，包括冬季花园、探索中心、免税购物、主题体验中心和博物馆，还有零售、餐厅和酒吧。整个综合体的设计灵感源自对海洋和自然环境的回应，创造出引人入胜的形态和丰富的零售体验。硬石酒店以温和的"S"曲线呈现，赏心悦目的海景尽收眼底，与零售综合体相邻的开放广场成为夏季啤酒节，音乐演出的理想场所。
