Haikou Jiangdong Office Tech-Park Development

Haikou Jiangdong New Area is a key pilot zone for the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Zone and Free Trade Port. The total projected development area for the project is approximately 80,000 square meters above ground and 55,000 square meters underground. The project aims to focus on elements such as finance, energy, and trade industries in the free trade port and create a platform for the aggregation of modern service industries in the Jiangdong New Area. Faced with the contradiction of limited land resources and high requirements for green and low-carbon development, the design plan cleverly proposes three rectangular rings. They create shading for the public spaces below, integrates various programs, and creates a symbolic and legible landmark image. Moreover, the roofs of the rectilinear rings provide ample conditions for installing solar photovoltaic panels, maximizing the potential of the site for renewable energy.
