Greenland Nanchang Civic and Convention Centre 绿地南昌市民+会展中心

In the previous masterplan of Nanchang’s Ganjiang New District, two public buildings were conceived at the mouth of the river, coined as the ‘Eyes of the River’.

The civic center consists of two low-rise buildings located at the water’s edge of Ru Le Lake in Nanchang, including a hotel, conference center and a community sports center.  The hotel and conference center is grouped in one building, equipped with two 2000m2 ballrooms stacked on each other, both having a pre-function spaces facing the public lake.  A ring of hotel rooms surrounds the conference area. The sports complex has an interesting mix of sport programs including an ice-skating rink and swimming pool. The swimming pool is placed on the 2nd floor to enjoy views of the lake, having an infinity pool concept. AECOM’s architectural and high performance design team collaborated closely to develop a large structural brise-soliel that covers each building to provide sun shading and privacy.

在南昌赣江新区的总体规划中,计划在河口处设立两座公共建筑,被称为“江之眼”,是整个特色小镇开发的核心亮点。 市政中心由两座低层建筑组成,位于南昌儒乐湖畔,包括一家酒店、会议中心和社区体育中心。酒店和会议中心位于同一座建筑内,设有两个2000平方米的宴会厅,上下叠加,并且前厅都面向儒乐湖泊和自然风景。一圈酒店客房环绕在会议区周围。体育综合设施包括一个滑冰场和一个游泳池,提供丰富多样的运动项目。游泳池位于二楼,可欣赏湖景,并采用了无边泳池的设计理念。AECOM建筑团队使用参数化设计,与高性能设计团队一起开发了一款大型结构遮阳板,覆盖在每座建筑上,提供遮阳效果和私密性。
