Liangzhu New Town Office park development

The project concept is derived from City Pioneer, City Platform, and City Park, combining local characteristics to create a city image that is iconic and public in nature.

1: City Pioneer: Leading urban renewal in the region signified by the bullet train high speed and technological advancement.

2. City Platform: Using the railway memory as the park's cultural context, City Platform extends the urban context in various aspects. It constructs an interconnected, multifunctional, and sustainable urban(train) platform that transports the memory-bearing public open space to project site and surrounding areas.

3. City Park: Relating to the urban green axis, City Park combines landscape resources to create an ecological park environment. It establishes outdoor interaction spaces, providing outdoor leisure and social venues for the park and surrounding communities.

Organically connecting surrounding plots, transforming from a city green island into a dynamic "platform," effectively stitching together urban space and continuing commercial and retail streets.

Planning Strategy: Fully respecting the urban spatial design and planning conditions, three 1600-square-meter standard floor office buildings are arranged along the south side of Jinjiadu North Road and the east side of Beiliu Road. Close to the north side of the urban green belt, four 10-13 story 800-square-meter standard floor towers are arranged, with the towers separated to allow the green belt landscape to permeate the interior of the park.

The main office building along the street is modular and rhythmically arranged, with an assembly of 800+800 forming a trapezoidal layout, maximizing the frontage along the main streets. The combination of 11 and 13 floors creates an interesting and staggered urban skyline.

The overall architecture encloses a streamlined central garden, extending to the west side of the site, which is planned to be a substation. A landscaped slope is designed to screen off the substation and creating a raised platform for resting and acts as an east-west visual endpoint. Entrances and exits intersect with the central garden, where sunken gardens and event plazas are arranged, forming important nodes for various activities.
