Competition Winning Entry：The High-Speed Rail New City serves as the focal point of Suzhou's "One Core, Four Cities" development strategy, aiming to establish a Suzhou-style modern urban area that encompasses a hub for high-end service industries and a low-carbon ecological sustainable demonstration zone. Situated in the heart of the High-Speed Rail New City, this project aligns closely with the theme of "Suzhou's landscape and new city technology." A standout feature of this development is a cutting-edge 280-meter super tower, which not only enhances the area's skyline but also sets a benchmark for the surrounding intelligent industry clusters. Capitalizing on the site's natural resources, it creates a new generation of urban ecological communities while maximizing the value of residential offerings. The design of the super tower aims to harmonize architectural aesthetics and structural integrity, exemplifying a fusion of art and functionality. Its robust framework and diagonal bracing provide multiple layers of defense against lateral forces, wind, and seismic loads, significantly enhancing structural efficiency. Moreover, they contribute directly to the architectural facade language. At the tower's apex, a distinctive crown not only reduces wind loads but also enriches the distinctive spatial experience of the sky garden in this location.
