no inspiration! nada! nimic (that was ro)!
i miss those times when things were just ... smooth! now nothing seems to work! : (
just a tough week, i worked a lot for the deadline today. at the crit i had a conversation with one teacher. he hated the fact that i wanted to make a cca 125 m2 building (1 from a 3 building series) out of concrete. the other 2 are from concrete, that was ok. his argument was the fact that arch isn't about surviving in time anymore, that constructions won't be appreciated more then 30 years from their birth, that it's all about changing. i agree that things are supposed to be more dynamic, changeable, but does that mean we shouldn't use materials as concrete or brick? aren't these just different points of view, each as valid as the other? i know i'm very bad in theory, especially in english. i just hope it's understandable.
i'm tired! good night (it's almost 22 o'clock here, time for a beer. or two).

cheer up, oana. that crit sounds very subjective - you can argue both ways [jeez, following that argument to its ultimate consequences we should get ready to tear down some tadao ando soon].

inspiration sometimes needs good karma- i'm sure once you get over what really sounds like a shallow comment it'll all come back to you.
