    JDS Architects: an Introduction

So as mentioned in a much earlier post, I have been in Copenhagen for a little over a month... working on a Super Secret Project

    It is finally done...

A short back story. Towards the end of the school year, Julien De Smedt came to UIC to lecture. I was fortunate enough to be able to interview him for a forthcoming Fresh Meat article. Through the conversation, talk of short films came up. This led on to another conversation and then to something else (i don't remember all the details I'll have to review the recording). Long story short, I was asked to come to Copenhagen to work on a small Project for JDS.

So comes Today. As you may have noticed on the Archinect feed or other Architecture outlets JDS has launched a new website, www.jdsa.eu. Those that remember the old one may remember its lack of any legibility or navigational ease (i kinda liked it). My part in this (the super secret project) was to produce a short film about the office. Over the last month working with De Smedt and with the help of the office we explored what it mean to introduce the office. This is that introduction and the start of what looks to be a series of diverse shorts about the work, process, and thoughts of JDS. Check it and their new slick, ipod, iphone, superclean, project packed, video showing, skijumping website.

    But first watch this...

    thanks for stopping by...
