RETRO POST #08: Current State of Mind

Well... I have been reading a LOT (mostly theory readers and an occasional typography or photography book), traveled to Vegas to see the spendors of the Venetian (
Mayne's Tsunami and Lutece &
Koolhaas' Guggenheim), and have been testing new technical processes in
Maya and
Rhino. Additionally, I bought a
Wacom Intuos2 6x8 tablet to explore digital sketching in
Photoshop and
Painter to "nail down" my thoughts (as in thumbnails). For kicks, I've been watching the
Gnomon ANALOG videos... specifically Feng & Ryan Church.
What do I plan to do the rest of the summer? Enjoy my family & vacation as much as possible while fading many of my smaller clients away. Graduate school is just around the corner...
