Winners of the LEAF Awards 2014
The results of the LEAF Awards 2014 are out! Every year, the LEAF International highlights projects that are perceived as setting the standard for the international architecture and design community in various categories. Winners were recognized at an awards ceremony at the Swissotel in Düsseldorf/Neuss, Germany on October 10. This year's overall winner was One Central Park in Sydney, Australia by Ateliers Jean Nouvel + PTW Architects -- adding one more award to the list for the project.

World Architecture Festival 2014 - Day 1 winners
The World Architecture Festival 2014 is now in full swing at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, and the Day 1 competition winners have been revealed. The international live competition is unique in that it lets anyone apply and have a chance to win and event attendees can see the competition unfold before their eyes...For Day 1, the "super jury" selected 16 winners worldwide -- including projects in Vietnam, Iran, Brazil, Turkey, and the UK.

Italian team wins first place at the Solar Decathlon Europe 2014
The top three winners of the Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 were recently announced during the awards ceremony this past weekend in Versailles, France. For two years, the 20 student teams worked to build a full-scale, fully functioning solar-powered house.

The 2014 shortlist for the highly anticipated World Architecture Festival has been announced! Taking place at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on October 1-3, the World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards is unique in that anyone can apply to the competition and have a chance to win. Additionally, event attendees can witness architecture teams present their projects and then listen to the jury's responses.
