Architecture: Projects
ArchNewsNow has posted a preview of an exhibition in SoCal, “Reflections" as part of the 52nd Annual Southern California Home + Garden Show. Featured among the projects in today's LA Times are two inflatable shelters designed by Alexis Rochas and the SCI-Arc Community Design Program. "Fill an 18-inch cube with air and it becomes a 60-foot-long covered pavilion that can be reshaped and customized to fit a specific purpose. [...] temporary emergency housing or as a museum or art pavilion that pops up for a day." Aeromads.
