note to incoming GSD and Career Discovery students about housing

Sorry to abuse my blog in this way, but this is just to reach out to incoming GSD (and MIT) students, as well as GSD Career Discovery summer students, who are looking for apartments.

We have a Facebook group with almost 300 members called 'Harvard GSD Housing' where you can post ads related to sublets, apartments, roommates, and related issues. Lots of GSD students are looking to sublet their (conveniently located and reasonably priced) apartments for the summer, and/or looking for new roomies for the fall:

Note that the wall is publicly viewable, and we don't vet members or posts, so post and rent at your own discretion.

    • If you can, stay in the Gropius dorms. There is nothing like perfect proportion to organize one's thoughts on design

About this Blog

This blog was most active from 2009-2013. Writing about my experiences and life at Harvard GSD started out as a way for me to process my experiences as an M.Arch.I student, and evolved into a record of the intellectual and cultural life of the Cambridge architecture (and to a lesser extent, design/technology) community, through live-blogs. These days, I work as a data storyteller (and blogger at in San Francisco, and still post here once in a while.
