Okay, I tried my hand at a collage. Being that this is my first attempt, and I took these pictures with what could possibly be the cheapest digital camera ever (it was around $200, about 2 years ago), I'd have to give myself a B+. Enjoy. The Detroit Opera House View full entry
Another site visit, this time I seemed to have focused more on the negative than the positive. At one time, this was a beautiful feature for this building, now it has become a hazard to pedestrians. What trip to downtown would be complete without a couple bums napping on a porch, after enjoying a... View full entry

Okay, it appears that this semester we will be focusing on urban design. This works out great for me due to my love of Detroit, or any city for that matter. The city is really where it's at. It's the heart of it all. We will be designing urban lofts somewhere in the city (I wasn't given the site... View full entry
After a long and relaxing weekend, today kicks off my first real week back to school. This semester will be quite a challenge for me, because this summer I started a full time job. I will, for the next 4 months, be performing a balancing act between the two. I've cut my class load a little bit... View full entry
