This project takes a crumbling milk depot and transforms it into a revitalized 17-unit apartment complex. Care was taken to restore the existing board-formed concrete and brick structure and top it off with a modern addition that steps back at the face. Old garage door openings become recessed porches and stoops for at grade community building. Dwelling units unfold around a hidden, shared green courtyard where collected rainwater feeds the plants on its way back down to the water table.
