This home was designed for a competition that RESIDENTIAL MAGAZINE was sponsoring. It combined three of my passions; small home design, passive solar initiatives and modular construction. I grew up in a small modular home so I felt I had a head start on the competition. I didn't win and there are a few things I would have changed...i.e.: the front second floor bedroom bay- but overall I think it made the most of the corner lot and was very family friendly. I had as much fun drawing it as I did designing it.
