This was the second competition that I entered and won for Bald Head Island. It is a mixed use project that masquerades as a single family home. The first level is commercial and was intended to offer a live/work possibility. The indoor /out door first floor Foyer leads to the two level reverse plan residence above that enjoys ocean views from the stairwell and upper foyer and a generous double wraparound porch.
