After the cracks at MIT Stata center and the cracks in the Eisenman's Berlin memorial, it is visible a big crack at the Tate. Fortunately, in this case, the crack is an installation, Doris Salcedo's "Shibboleth". A beautiful installation that gives the impression that an earthquake cracked the museum floor. TATE

i was there a few weeks ago; more than the crack itself, i adored seeing how people interacted with it...some were perplexed, some were playful, all were thoughtful...i still remember this kid crawling along the floor, reaching for the crack...just great...
I wish there are exhibitions like this one where I live. I had a chance to visit Tate modern once when they were showing the Sun installation by Olafur Eliasson, (that was the first and the only time I went to that museum,) and they were also showing the paintings by Sigmar Polke... The atmosphere was overwhelming. Great space and fantastic art works.
