From the slide show: "WINY MAAS, who worked for OMA for several years before founding MVRDV with Jacob van Rijs (another OMA graduate, as am I)..."
Was anyone else surprised by this parenthetical insertion? Don't get me wrong, I applaud full disclosure, it just seemed like such an unusual change in tone for an article like this. I'm so used to authors of articles describing themselves in the third person (presumably to convey the illusion of objectivity), if they happen to refer to themselves at all. Not to suggest that it means anything; I was just surprised.
I was surprised to see that the article was written by Sarah Whiting...
didn't someone mention that Muschamp was on his way out?
and now we know that she worked for Rem...
