KMA Architecture teamed up with the Ross Group in a Design/Build effort to provide this project with the optimum balance of functionality, sustainability, durability and innovation while meeting or exceeding the design criteria for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The facility is provided with ample fenestration to ensure natural daylighting to all offices along the exterior facade. Larger windows were provided in select areas to place special emphasis on the main entry and Patrol Agent in Charge Office.
The prefabricated regtangular building provides a dramatic statement to the hillside location through the use of colored wall panels and geometries within the roof line.
