One America Plaza, a preeminent fixture of downtown San Diego is the tallest building in the San Diego city skyline at 500 feet (due to height restrictions it will never be towered over). One America is a two-phased, mixed use development. The initial phase contains the office tower, trolley station, museum building, restaurants, retail shops and extensive outdoor plazas. The office space is 555,630 square feet, and the galleria/retail is 14,000 for a total square footage of 569,630 square feet. A four level, 1,250 car subterranean parking garage provides two spaces per 1,000 rentable square feet.
