This was a small tenant improvement project, which was to design the conversion of an existing under-utilized pool pavilion and storage room into a new exercise room and leasing office. The access to both rooms was required to be accomplished with disabled access ramps and landings at each of the two new entries. A new code-compliant, wrought iron pool fence with brick pillars was designed to replace the existing non-compliant block wall.
Additionally, balcony and patio railings were re-faced and the most public facades of the buildings were designed with new detail. All windows were replaced with double pane insulating units, and the entire complex was given a new multi color paint scheme. The result was an apartment complex that went from looking old to looking new.
