Visual contact promotes informal communication among employees as well as a feeling of "togetherness" - qualities that are indispensable in a modern office environment. In the expanded offices of the Auböck construction company in Enns, Upper Austria, destilat has introduced this openness with transparent partition walls and a contemporary design inspired by the formal language of the 1960s.
In addition to the offices for senior staff and the executive office with conference table and en suite bathroom, an open lounge kitchen also presents itself in the new look; simple and straightforward, so that the material can speak for itself. There are a number of characteristic materials to be discovered in the bright room structure: vividly flamed marble, which forms the back wall of the lounge area and is quoted in side tables; dark-stained wood, which is found in doors and built-in furniture; stamped copper sheet, which plays with light, shadow and spatiality in its staggered arrangement and becomes the central design element of the design.
Existing furniture was integrated into the interior concept and complemented by striking furniture classics: Gio Ponti's Easy Chairs, for example, correspond with the sofa. The new interior design also provides an appropriate setting for the company's own art collection and allows the family business to work in contemporary office structures.
