Geometry is the foundation presented within
this contemporary 14’x15’ living room. Furnishings
speak of shape, form and relation to each other.
Natural finishes offered through flooring selections
and a fire place provide a soft balance of traditional
elements as well as modern fixtures.
Initially, the developement of this sketch was
based on using a grid so that objects may be to scale.
Not only had I taken the time to accomplish scale
and proportion but I decided to express furniture
design as well. I wanted to play with shapes as
puzzles being molded together, layered and cut out.
Mediums used consists of fine point seguin pen,
trace paper, grid with design tools and inspirations.
