High end retail lighting design is accomplished
with the uses of multiple lighting techniques and
sources. Track lighting showcase merchandise with
mood enhancements as well as spot lighting on
top merchandise products. The design on the store
is very contemporay as the shelves demonstrate
simplistic wood finishes, steel, glass, paint, line,
sections with openness and minimal details.
The task of this assignment had be to produce
a rendering of a retail store design using a single
medium; Auto Cad. Within this assignment I chose
to elaborate on lighting techniques and how lighting
may be used to interpret the mood of the space in
relation to the psychology of the consumer and sales.
