A Couple of thoughts struck me...
He insists in this as in other interviews i have seen that his work and detailing is often (at least in this earlier phase) intentionally rough, slipshod, because of low budgets and low quality craftsmen/construction...
He also mentioned that he doesn't liek doing high-rise(s), he is more comfortable at the low scale. Has he done any skyscrapers?????
Finally, his early model for the Disney Concert hall, looked amazingly similar to the final build of the IAC building in NY.
