maybe.
but don't forget, gehry is a master architect with an extraordinary range of materials and forms he is familiar and built with.
and, we know he has been daring and youthful at the times throughout his career.
i wouldn't be surprised he pulls out a joker card and capture a fresh moment.
he does have an uncanny sense to stay up there and take advantage of situations and opportunities. he will zero in that this is a very symbolic opportunity to have some fun in his terms, without the client pressure about the business venture success.
i predict he will seize the stage as he would.

ho-hum. we know our profession needs new infrastructure, when septuagenarians and nonagenarians get commissioned for experimental pavilions.
Can't wait... there's already a buzz in the office :)
whoa, apparently you've got to be really posh and have not brushed yer teeth in years to attend the party. wicked...
Isn't the Sepentine Gallery design normally given to an architect that hasn't built in the UK before?
i'm guessing those people in the slideshow orhan linked don't stick around for the marathon symposium?
way to strike while the iron is hot!
