Stevens Institute of Technology, located in Hoboken, NJ, is one of the oldest engineering schools in the United States. While being renowned for it’s academic programs, the school also has an extensive and successful athletics program. One of the most successful in recent memory has been the swimming team. The school was having issues with the existing pool room ventilation system not properly circulating air across the surface of pool. The resulted in insufficient air quality and unsafe conditions for the team with the highest concentration of chlorine just above the pools surface. EP Engineering was tasked with modifying the existing airflow distribution to alleviate this issue.
