Ruby Ramirez (FIU BA in Interior Design ’01) is a partner with Alison Antrobus in the interior architecture and design firm Antrobus+Ramirez. The firm recently won the Best Interior Design Show Home for its project “Ocean House” in Miami Beach at the International Property Awards for the Americas’ region, which recognized designers from the USA, Canada, Caribbean, and Central and South Americas.
Judging for this award was undertaken by a panel of over 70 experts from all over the world and chaired by two active members of the House of Lords – Lord Caithness and Lord Best.
As a recipient of the highest-scoring 5-star award, Antobus+Ramirez and the other winners from each of the 48 categories now go forward to represent the Americas region in the global competition where they will compete against other regional winners from Africa, Arabia, the UK, the Asia Pacific and Europe to find the ultimate World’s Best in Interior Design.
