The 2010 Cavin Family Traveling Fellowship was awarded to Garrett van Leeuwen, a 2009 5-year Bachelor of Architecture graduate from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Garret’s entry was selected out of five finalists that were presented to a public jury last Friday afternoon. The $10,000 annual prize will be used for personal travel by the winning fellow. Garret will be going to Japan and to China to explore sustainable building strategies in Asia. Bustler
