New High Line Images
This morning, for the first time since 2005, we were blessed with new images of The High Line. Coming at you now in a series of three posts, a look at what's arriving soon to West Chelsea's elevated rail tracks.

video is great. This project makes me happy. So much whimsy and fun and smartness.
That video is sweet. I didn't know they were doing cutouts. That, is awesome!
And i am kind of surprised they seem to have gone with metal (fire-escapesque) decking/grating.
I thought in earlier versions it looked more "natural"?
Oh that is just for the "Woodland FlyOver".
Yea, the rest of the motif is decking boards: bent up to benches, twisted sideways for planters, etc. Keen.
Loving it. Especially loving that video... finally an architecture-esque video without the constant drone of The Postal Service's "such great heights" in the background...
