My parents (non-architects) introduced me to the work of Niemeyer when I was in 4th grade because I wrote a paper about wanting to be an architect. They bought me a pop-up book of his buildings in Brasilia. I cherish that book to this day. And I cherish Oscar to this day as well.

He is a genius!
And he somehow (IMHO) always come across as licentious...and fun loving...Especially for his age.
