Last night's hurriedly organized event,
Architecture and Urban Design Panel Discussion at UCLA Perloff Hall was uneventful even though the promise of the panel was interesting with distinguished faculty members participating. Each participant took five minutes at the lectern to connect their architectural practice with the academic work they do.
Regardless the energetic personalities involved, the panel discussion afterwards was never charged enough to reach the levels of a debate, and unfortunately produced very little to remember.
One member of the audience got rebellious without a cause and left the room in anger but that was about it.
Anyway,
Ever so pragmatic for my readers, I have used my time to photograph the thesis work in the adjacent room for your information. In a hurry, I forgot the names of the authors and I am now hoping someone will fill us in with the names, upon reading this one percent review of the panel discussion that hardly was. I hope you enjoy this snapshot documentation of the valuable student work.
