Finalists for the 2006 edition of the FAD Prize (catalan arch prizes for the best works done in the iberian peninsula last year) were announced four days ago. Apart of the traditional Architecture and Interior Design categories, the Exterior Spaces category has mutated into City and Landscape ("Ciutat i Paisatge") and the Ephemeral Spaces one into Brief Interventions ("Intervencions Breus"). Also a new category that will award works of theory and architecture critique has emerged, "Pensament i CrÃtica". Winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony to be held October 18 in Barcelona's CosmoCaixa museum, and the finalists include Nouvel's Agbar Tower and Miralles' Santa Caterina Market among others.
