LACMA extension exhibition by Renzo Piano and his workshop, is a telling story of their approach, methods, and skills for this well contested project and museum venue. His Westward expansion of the County Museum, which will arguably be the most spread out major museum in the world, perhaps an accidental analogy to its now cosmopolitan location, Los Angeles. Project deals with this circulation issue rather relentlessly and resolve other program requirements in most creative, experimental and plain masterful ways that the architect is known for. When completed, the project will have a maximum impact on the city. It will include a large urban park and a museum as well as other existing history and buildings.

Following are pictures of the ongoing exhibition of the project already under construction. The project promises to be the most important museum in the west while offering a public cultural center for this ‘reachable’ part of the traffic congested city. Current public use of the existing grounds, guaranteed to prove that Mr. Piano was right, when he enhanced his drawings and models with people.
