Project Overview
Taylor University’s former Student Union, affectionately called the “Dome,” is now being transformed into a gallery for the Leland and LaRita Boren Western Art Collection, a collection donated to the University in fall 2018. The design basically includes adding gallery walls to divide the dome into different areas considering the visitors’ routes.
The facade renovation includes replacing punched windows in the event space and classroom to storefront glazing and adding some featured elements or materials to revitalize the original brick facade.
